One of the websites judicilaw.wb.gov.in which was under development got defaced on 24th December 2022 primarily because of improper use of VPN and lack of updation of development software used therein. Concerned dept. is being asked to sensitise it’s developers about following proper security protocols in future. It was promptly detected, quarantined, investigated and compromise factor nullified by the SDC team. Besides, thorough checking has been done and no other website was found to have been affected or compromised as of now.
